Focus and Scope

SCOPE

Journal of Surgical and Clinical Research publishes original articles concerned with Basic Science, Clinical Investigation, Outcome Studies and Education Research criada em 10/06/2010
relevant to surgical and clinical practice and teaching. The journal emphasizes reports of clinical investigations or fundamental research bearing directly on surgical and clinical management that will be of general interest to a broad range of surgeons, clinicians and researchers. Special attention is done to Scientific Initiation involving undergraduate students. The articles presented need to have been the products of surgeons, clinicians, and from basic sciences researchers. The Journal of Surgical and Clinical Research also features review articles and special articles relating to educational research, or social issues of interest to the academic community.

The Journal adheres to the Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). 

Publication Frequency

The online appearance of the Journal of Surgical and Clinical Research allows the immediate publication of accepted articles to ensure that new research is disseminated as efficiently and quickly as possible to the scientific community. The articles are grouped into two issues per year that will make up an annual volume.

Open Access Policy

This journal is free and provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that makes research freely available to the public and supports a great global exchange of knowledge.
