INFILTRAÇÃO RESINOSA EM LESÕES BRANCAS NÃO CARIOSAS: SÉRIE DE CASOS

Resumo

Introdução: As lesões brancas cariosas e não cariosas, como a hipoplasia do esmalte e a fluorose, apresentam desafios estéticos e funcionais para pacientes. O infiltrante resinoso surge como uma solução minimamente invasiva, eficaz tanto para interromper a progressão da cárie quanto para mascarar lesões brancas. Objetivo: Este trabalho objetivou utilizar o tratamento da infiltração resinosa, em casos clínicos de lesões brancas não cariosas. Metodologia: Este artigo relata quatro casos clínicos de pacientes com lesões brancas não cariosas tratadas com o infiltrante resinoso (3 casos de hipoplasia e 1 caso de fluorose). O protocolo incluiu a aplicação de ácido clorídrico 15% (Icon-Etch), etanol (Icon-Dry) e a resina fluida (Icon-Infiltrant), de acordo com as instruções do fabricante (DMG), com acompanhamento fotográfico de quatorze dias a sete meses após o tratamento. Resultados: Em todos os casos, observou-se significativa melhora estética, com destaque para o mascaramento das manchas hipoplásicas mais profundas e desaparecimento das manchas de fluorose, além da satisfação dos pacientes. Conclusões: Conclui-se que a técnica é eficaz na camuflagem de lesões brancas não cariosas, oferecendo uma alternativa conservadora aos métodos restauradores convencionais.
