Abstract

Located in the interdisciplinarity between law and psychology. It is true that abortion already exists in society, due to the exceptions that the Penal Code stipulates, in this sense, the present study questions the reason why Brazilian penal law still punishes women who aim to interrupt pregnancy, that is, induce abortion . Thus, the objective was to analyze abortion in Brazil, emphasizing the main consequences related to this theme from a legal and psychological point of view, using the bibliographic review as a method.
