THE STATE OF THE ART ABOUT MALE TRANSEXUALITY IN THE SCHOOL CONTEXT IN FAZENDO GÊNERO
Abstract
The transsexuality is based on the disagreement between biological sex and the gender through which a person recognizes himself and wishes to be recognized. We start from the little or invisibility that trans men have in Brazil, whether this invisibility of these identities in the formal job or in the school environment, as a conception in the social imaginary seems to prevail that it is not possible to transition gender from female to male and therefore, this transition is ignored. The work aims to analyze what has been produced academically about male transsexuality in the school context, and for that we have carried out a state of the art in the annals of seven editions of the event Fazendo Gênero. The study is characterized as a qualitative research and with analysis directed to the field of post-critical theories. We conclude that, as an academic production, male transsexuality appears very discreetly in the annals of the researched event.
