Abstract

In this article a diagnosis of the present is presented in an attempt to contribute to an anthropology of chaos, a perspective opened by Claude Lévi-Strauss’s studies on Western civilization. To this end, the notion of progress and the value of technology that guided the projects of civilization are problematized. Finally, we propose the reform of the thought and the construction of a planetary ecosocific ethics to overcome the impasses of the present time.
