Abstract

The poem is a tribute to historians. The lyrical Self places itself in dialogue with an imaginary historian who looks at the window of time, and watches not only the unfolding of History but also historiography itself. It leads to a reflection on the profession of the Historian, its challenges, the emotions shared by it.
