Introduction: Since 2020, there has been much discussion about the organization of health practices to combat Covid-19, including the prevention and recovery of dozens of sequelae attributed to cases of illness in the population. Given this context, it is necessary to develop epidemiological surveillance actions for prevention and health promotion in conjunction with Primary Health Care. Objective: to analyze interprofessional and collaborative work in Primary Health Care and Basic Care in the face of health problems and interdisciplinary relationship with the covid-19 pandemic. Methodology: qualitative approach, case study, developed in a Basic Health Unit located in a medium-sized municipality in the state of Santa Catarina. Workers at higher, technical and secondary levels participated in the study. The sample was defined, for convenience, by data collected through Focus Groups. The analysis was carried out using thematic content analysis. Results: the following categories of analysis emerged from the collected material: concepts of interprofessionality and collaborative practices; the covid-19 pandemic and the encouragement of interprofessional work; main difficulties faced in carrying out interprofessional work during the covid-19 pandemic. Discussion: multidisciplinary action was seen as positive, as a way for professionals to better understand the demands of users and the work of other colleagues, while work overload, due to the great demands generated by the pandemic, compromised collaborative work within and among health teams.
