The Uberization of labor has shown exponential growth in the Brazilian scenario and currently accounts for more than 1.5 million jobs. The majority of these are found in the transport of people and objects sector. The context of high unemployment rates, rising inflation and freezing of prices applied by the organizations that own the platforms generated dissatisfaction among app drivers and delivery people, a situation that contributed to the formation of massive protests in July 2020. CITA is a small organization that operates in the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre and will take on a leading role in the local mobilizations of “breque dos apps”. Based on case study with interviews and analysis of the CITA's publications on social networks and inspired by Burawoy's (1998) extended case method, the role of small organizations located outside the southeast of Brazil stands out in building national mobilizations in the fight against the Uberization of labor.
