Sensibilização sobre o uso eficiente de energia elétrica em escolas públicas de Goianinha/RN

This article is the result of an extension project that aimed to disseminate measures of conscious use of electricity in public schools of Goianinha / RN. For this, lectures were held in four schools in the city, which emphasized the direct impacts that the generation of electricity has on the environment, demonstrating ways of efficient use of electricity for students and teachers, aiming at environmental and economic awareness. Surveys were also performed in the electrical installations of schools, seeking to identify possible problems and abnormalities, according to the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards. Afterwards, reports were prepared with the images and the description of the inadequacies, followed by the recommendations for rectification according to ABNT NBR 5410: 2004. The project met its objectives and included around 500 students and teachers.
