Abstract

The present article is interested in tracing a convergence between the theoretical-practical devices of my inventive process in the art of performance, in which I “establish” a minimal existence, the AdivinhaaDiva, a buffoon-cyborg-bixa. Through an investigation into the interface between art and life, I aimed at the intersection of the creative practice of the buffoon, according to Bya Braga and Joaquim Elias, to produce an activity that affects “artivism”. These are devices for the intensification of a practice that makes the body a space for denunciation and frees it from conservatism, taking it to unknown, wild and impersonal places. Therefore, many questions are open and need to be discussed: how to overcome normative social values and “establish” this foreign population that orbits us, via performance art? To what extent is it possible to deal with an artistic production approaching the bixa “mode of existence” in performance art with artivism? How can I relate these instances? How can such a “minimal existence”, based on a performer as an initiating agent, invent a world, a shared existence?
