Feelings experienced by families of children with neoplasms

Identify the feelings experienced by families of children with cancer. This is an integrative literature review, and the search was carried out in the following databases: Lilacs, Bdenf and the Scielo portal. Guided by the question “What are the feelings experienced by family members of children with cancer?”. Used descriptors and crosses with the Boolean operator “AND”: Family AND Feelings AND Cancer AND child. The collection of studies took place between the months of August and September 2021, from this search 108 studies were found, and as a final result of the filtering, 9 searches were used. With the analysis of the studies, it was possible to show that the feelings experienced by parents of children with cancer cause a great impact and change the family's daily life, causing declines mainly in the emotional axis, bringing anguish and sadness, with despair and fear being the most constant. Therefore, it was identified that the feelings are mostly negative, anguish, anger and mainly fear of death. In addition, the referent study serves as an influence for the development of new research on this theme.
