Discurses about industry 4.0 for the stamping sector of the automobile industry: a systematic literature review

This work aims to raise the possible impacts of advanced manufacturing into the stamping sector of the automotive industry, through the analysis of recent scientific discourses. It is used as methodological basis the systematic literature review, bringing a synthesis of all relevant evidence on the subject. The PRISMA methodology (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) is used as methodological content for quantitative analysis, about the advanced manufacturing pathways into the automotive stamping sector and the main components of advanced manufacturing. It evaluates in a second moment, for a qualitative analysis, using the method of answering interview questions and, from semi-structured questionnaires, to show the new actual Brazilian manufacturing scenario (which presents paradigms related to its implementation in the stamping metal parts sector, in the point of view from the Brazilian automobile sector, selected for the investigation). The results show that the technical-scientific production about advanced manufacturing and automotive stamping is still very recent and underdeveloped. However, it is possible to understand the evolution and implementation of the theme, as well as new paradigms and, consequently, socioeconomic impacts.
