Abstract

The environment is the touchstone for maintaining the earth's balance. With the destruction of the environment, humanity sees itself at the door of its end as a species, through natural disasters and/or induced by anthropic action, including highlighting the Global Warming and the COVID-19 pandemic. States have the necessary means to act through fiscal incentives and public policies. Action is needed for a sustainable path, immediately. Covid-19 was the threshold of an iceberg much more fatal to humans. This article was developed based on extensive bibliographical research, using the investigative-exploratory methodology. It is concluded that it is time to put a stop to the destruction of the environment, which is directly and centrally related to the cause of global climate warming and Covid-19.
