The Political Education Course, broadcast by Rádio Rural de Caicó/RN in the 1980s, was organized by the Base Education Movement (MEB) and aimed to promote political awareness through informal popular education. The analysis of the course documentation, broadcast on the programs Aprenda em sua Casa and Caminhos da Libertação, uses Laurence Bardin's “Content Analysis” method. The material used in the research is under the custody of the Historical Documentation Laboratory (LABORDOC), linked to CERES/UFRN. The program addressed relevant political themes, such as popular participation and the fight for social justice. The application of Bardin's method allowed us to understand the historical and educational impact of the course in building political awareness in the region.
