Primary care is the gateway to the Unified Health System and women, their main users, demand gender-centered strategies at all stages of life. This action sought to bring to the Family Health Unit of the Reginaldo community a health prevention and promotion action by presenting users with a female health card. The explanations made women realize the need to take more care of them. It reinforced the female role in the options inherent in sexual and reproductive health and stimulated women's discourse and the sense of belonging, acceptance and importance to the FHU and its multi-professional team. Once the community appropriates the knowledge necessary to improve its quality of life and expands it in its social cycle, there is a significant health benefit.
