FACIAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT FOR HEALTH PROFESSIONALS IN THE FIGHT AGAINST COVID-19
PRODUCTION CASE STUDY USING LOW-COST 3D PRINTERS IN UFERSA - CARAÚBAS

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) (2020), the current unprecedented health crisis that the world currently faces with the new coronavirus, constitutes a public health emergency. In view of this situation, the union between different sectors of society is essential to help fight the pandemic. The face shields production project is an extension of the Federal Rural University of the Semi-Arid, whose objective is to contribute to the prevention of health professionals. Its methodology involves the use of low-cost 3D printers for making the equipment. The results include, in addition to the quantity produced, an opinion poll to improve the product's effectiveness.
