POETIZ@NDO: POETRY ON SOCIAL MEDIA FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF FAMILY LITERCY

The Edusaúde UFRN Extension project develops popular health education activities, using instagram @edusaudeufrn. Among the activities, there is the “poetiz @ ndo” activity of health literacy, developed from September to October 2020, where poetry from Brazilian authors, made for children, were recited, recorded in videos and posted. In addition to the poetry, biographies of the poets were also published. Audience interaction was inferred by likes, views, comments. The poetiz @ ndo when transmitting 11 poems, of eight authors and their biographies, obtained 994 views and 133 likes in the declamations and 229 liked in the biographies. Thus, it achieves the objective of demystifying poetry as a genre restricted to social elites and contribute to academic training, working skills of communicating, working as a team, planning actions.
