Abstract

This article is to extend the channels of science communication in the environmental field to society and, in particular, to public high school students, encouraging the insertion of these in the scientific environment through appropriate language. The project develops from the construction and dissemination of educational videos on social networks addressing in accessible language the work done by scientists in the field of Ecology at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. Thus, it is expected to approach society, young students and the scientific community, demystifying the distance between science and school, stimulating the emergence of new scientists and adding greater scope and effectiveness to the work developed in undergraduate and graduate programs in Ecology and related sciences.
