THE USE OF PODCAST AS A WAY TO ACHIEVE KNOWLEDGE TRANSMISSION

EXPERIENCE REPORT OF PET ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING UFMT

Abstract

This article proposes an experience report based on the use of Information and Communication Technology as a way to continue the transmission of information to society in a context of social distancing. This experience is linked to the extension project entitled “PETCAST: the use of PODCAST as an information tool in Electrical Engineering”, carried out by students of the Electrical Engineering bachelor degree at the Federal University of Mato Grosso. The purpose of this report is to show an example of innovation in the context of a pandemic, as well as the challenges and lessons learned. Thus, the results observed show a good public acceptance of engineering content through this tool, strengthening the connection between University and Society.
