UM RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA

Abstract

The objective was to report the experience of students from health courses at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) and professionals from the Ana Bezerra University Hospital (HUAB) who work as collaborators in the extension project “Protection, promotion and support to breastfeeding: strengthening HUAB Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative”, as well as the effectiveness of the remote format project as a strategy to promote health during the COVID-19 pandemic period. The project took place through the production and publication of materials in available digital media. Thus, we conclude that there was good acceptance by the public, satisfactory interaction with the themes addressed and continued strengthening of the IHAC, which supports breastfeeding in hospital institutions.
