Abstract

The text reports the experience of IN.cube SUD – Public Policy Incubator of Southwestern Paraná – at Hackathon 2025, held at UFFS, Realeza Campus. The team, composed of one professor and four students, developed the Origem SUD solution, a digital platform for traceability and certification of local organic production. The proposal aims to support agroecological transition, connect farmers to school meals programs, and eliminate intermediaries. Using methodologies such as design thinking, the group engaged with mentors and producers to validate the idea. The experience highlighted the importance of social innovation and university extension, bridging theory and practice while fostering interdisciplinarity. The project emphasized women’s leadership in agriculture and the university’s role as a catalyst for sustainable regional development.
