The article presents the systematization of the construction of the extension course "Multiprofessional Care for People with Cleft Lip and Palate," offered in a distance-learning format by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. The experience involved a multiprofessional and interinstitutional team in the planning, development, and management of a course aimed at training healthcare professionals on comprehensive care for individuals with cleft lip and palate. The process utilized the Moodle Virtual Environment, incorporating interactive digital resources such as video lectures, e-books, glossaries, and educational games. The action contributed to disseminating specialized knowledge, overcoming geographical barriers, and strengthening the integration of teaching, research, and extension. The course resulted in increased access to education, promotion of inclusion, and strengthening of care and health education networks.
