About the Journal

Focus and Scope

The Northeast Geosciences Journal - REGNE is a semiannual journal of the Laboratory of Geoprocessing and Physical Geography - LAGGEF, of the Seridó Higher Education Center - CERES of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte - UFRN, which aims to disseminate the knowledge of the Geosciences. Where authentic, original scientific articles of relevance to research and dissemination of knowledge regarding the spatialization and natural dynamics of the Earth will be published.

Article Processing Charges

After acceptance of the article for publication, the non-refundable payment of R$ 500.00 (five hundred reais) is required, which must be paid via the Revenue Collection and Control System (SIAR) of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). The Author(s) must scan the bank receipt of payment to attach them, obligatorily, to the Revista de Geociências do Nordeste email (regneufrn@gmail.com) informing the ID (five numbers), generated at the time of finalizing the submission and the title of the article. The author(s) will have a maximum period of 5 (five) business days to make payment and send the necessary receipts, under penalty of immediate archiving of the article.

PAYMENT GUIDELINES

1. Access the address https://siar.ufrn.br/siar/
2. Fill in the fields "CPF/CNPJ taxpayer" and "Taxpayer Name" with the data of the person making the payment;
3. In services choose the option "Regne Item Processing Fee";
4. Fill in the "Amount" field with the amount to be paid;
5. In the "Reference" field, enter the number 181508.

Select the checkbox at the end and click on "Pay", in the payment options you can choose to pay via PIX, credit card or simple GRU.

Archiving

This magazine uses the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) that digitally preserves OJS journals.

DOI (Digital Object Identifier)

Publications from the year 2019 onwards will be assigned the DOI.

Indexed Databases

The Northeast Geosciences Journal publishes all of its articles with a specific DOI and is indexed in the following databases:

- Diadorim;

- Portal de Periódicos (CAPES);
