Análise de distribuição espacial da violência
e das políticas protetivas para a populaçãpo LGBT no Brasil
Abstract
Objective: Georeferencing cases of violence suffered and unknowns about anti-discrimination policies in Brazil. Methods: Cross-sectional study with 1068 participants, consisting of Transvestites, Transsexuals and Transgender people, conducted through Social Networks (Facebook), between February and April 2017. Results: The southeastern and northeastern regions had the highest concentrations of cases of violence and ignorance of anti-discrimination policies, which represented 872 (81.65%) of reported cases and 778 (72.85%), respectively. Conclusion: Brazil is going through a moment of great intolerance, which ends up reflecting on cases of violence and another aggravating factor is that the populations do not know about public policies, which in theory would protect them.
