QUALITATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE ATTITUDES OF HEALTH PROFESSIONALS IN THE SERVICE OFFERED TO LESBIAN USERS
Abstract
The present study aimed to carry out the investigation and analysis of the attitudes of doctors, nurses, nursing technicians and health agents who work in USF (Family Health Unit) about affective practices and sexual vulnerability of lesbians. It was an exploratory and descriptive study, of transversal character, with qualitative design, carried out in Family Health Units, through the application, with health professionals, of an attitudes questionnaire. There was a diversification of attitudes in relation to the questions asked by the professionals, both favorable and unfavorable in relation to the importance of the revelation, on the part of the user, of her sexual orientation, about the vulnerability to sexually transmitted infections in lesbians and about the existence of sexual health specificities of lesbians.
