When obsolete memories are enunciated
syntax of precarious and unforgettable affections in the composition of gay characters based on Tobias Carvalho's “As coisas”
Abstract
Based on Tobias Carvalho's book “As Coisas”, the article is the result of a reflection on contemporary literary writings that dialogue with dissident and anonymous experiences that do not succumb to sexual norms that make certain aspects of gay bodies and their affections commercializable and consumable. Without neglecting the contemporary imagery of urban gay ties in Brazilian cities, the analytics of the article is based on Carvalho's poetics, an aesthetic and political enterprise of great importance in terms of articulating legibilities about minority modes of existence, in dialogue with the present time, providing us with some epistemological tools for understanding enunciation as a possible aesthetic and political destiny of minority corporealities and supposedly obsolete memories.
