Trabalhando na linha de frente: o impacto psicológico da COVID-19 nos profissionais de saúde

O presente estudo teve como objetivo investigar na literatura por meio de uma revisão sistemática quais os principais problemas psicológicos que acometem os profissionais de saúde atuantes na linha de frente da COVID-19. O procedimento metodológico foi conduzido seguindo as diretrizes do protocolo PRISMA. A seleção dos estudos foi realizada mediante buscas na Embase, PubMed, Scopus e Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS), utilizando descritores controlados. Foram considerados elegíveis estudos publicados no período de dezembro de 2019 até março de 2021, sem restrições de idiomas. Com o resultado das buscas, foram selecionados para compor o estudo 71 artigos, verificando que 108.766 profissionais de saúde atuaram na linha de frente da COVID-19, o sexo feminino foi majoritário 84.974, comparado ao masculino 22.773. Entre os profissionais atuantes, 18.764 tiveram depressão, 17.877 ansiedade, 6.164 estresse e 14.256 outros acometimentos psicológicos. Desta forma, é notório que a pandemia da COVID-19 tem contribuído para o aumento de impactos psicológicos nos profissionais de saúde, sendo importante a implementação de medidas interventivas para promoção de saúde, para que desta forma esses venham a serem reduzidos.
