Abstract

This teaching case describes the history of Mrs. Mary, a public servant who works in the Technology Center (TC) UFRN, which offers many benefits to its servers, from plan for jobs and wages to capacity courses and training plan social security and benefits such as food aid, transportation assistance and creche assistance. Despite all the benefits that CT offers its employees, Mrs. Maria feels dissatisfied because she is being overloaded with activities, and do not feel recognized for their commitment at work. She is charged with activities that she began to make their own free will because they don’t have a direct responsibility, but over time the activities that she would willingly become a part of their routine work and she has be charged by other employees for these activities, as if it were directly responsible for them. Mrs. Mary need then make a decision to end this situation because of the charges before she no longer takes pleasure in making your extra activities that once she made just for goodwill. She then decides to talk with her boss about her situation, however, still need to find a way to the extra activities she performs don't leave to be made within the center.
