SUSTAINABILITY OF ORGANIZATIONS AND THE PROPOSAL OF ABORGAGEMENT: BETWEEN THE REDUCIONIST VIES AND THE SYSTEMIC OPTICS

This work refers to the evaluation of the sustainability of organizations. Firstly, a description was made of the complex and comprehensive relationships arising from the productive, marketing and operational processes carried out by the organizations. The understanding of aspects related to sustainable energy and development initiatives is envisaged. There is relevance in the subject in question because of the interdisciplinarity existing in the concept of sustainability, in which social, economic and environmental presuppositions influence the relations coming from emerging concepts for the energy sector. For the evaluation of the sustainability of organizations, a reductionist approach known as a matrix of interdisciplinarity was used, which was applied to an energy company as a case study. Finally, a proposal of a systemic approach was presented for the evaluation of the sustainability of organizations based on the unification of two different methods.
