GAMIFICATION IN EARLY CHILD EDUCATION AT PEQUENO MÁRIO SCHOOL

Guiding and normative documents for early childhood education point to games as a playful form of learning. Gamification can provide a child engagement environment, using game mechanisms for educational purposes. This work aims to understand if gamification is used as an active methodology in daycare and preschool at Escola Municipal Infantil Pequeno Mário. For this, a questionnaire was applied to the teachers of the mentioned educational institution. As theoretical assumptions were used LDB (2017), RCNEI (1998), DCNEI (2009), BNCC (2018), Pasqualini (2010), Lorenzoni (2020), Moran (2021) among others. It was found that Escola Municipal Infantil Pequeno Mário develops teaching through dynamic and playful activities, using gamification in a welcoming and comfortable space, being a good reference in the provision of early childhood education.
