Abstract

This visual essay brings images produced during a research in Urban Anthropology in the Center of Fortaleza/CE. Through ethnographic walks, we roam, perceive and inhabit the space. The movement of the steps causes other displacements, such as methodological ones. The drawing appears, unexpectedly, as another way of getting involved in and with the city. Assumed as a method, it comprises a reflexivity in its gesture, a way of thinking not only about space, but also about the research and anthropological practice. With the shared images, we seek to raise concerns about what drawing, more than a representation of something, can show us in the encounters it generates and in the traces it leaves.
