Olavo de Carvalho has become, at present, one of the main representatives of denialism in Brazil and his narrative full of historical falsifications, especially regarding the theme of the Military Dictatorship, is considered a powerful discursive vein that disseminates denialism in the public arena. Therefore, this work has as its main objective to understand the bases of the essayist's discursive rhetoric and to consider how the ramifications of his thinking have proliferated in the public debate in recent years. Furthermore, it is essential to consider this proliferation only in digital media, where it had greater reach, but also in traditional media outlets, such as newspapers, where Carvalho was able to structure his eschatological and denialist narrative in the early 2000s.
