Os estudiosos de Antiguidade há décadas destacam o papel imprescindível desempenhado pelo Mar Mediterrâneo para as populações que habitaram seu entorno. Nas últimas décadas, os estudos sobre as rotas, trocas comerciais e culturais no Mediterrâneo Antigo buscaram construir diálogos, promover reflexões e debater de maneira ampla acerca das relações, interações e conexões na Antiguidade. Diante disso, o presente estudo busca refletir sobre a diversidade de relacionamentos e interações estabelecidas entre Assíria e Egito, contribuindo para a formação e a consolidação de uma visão da Antiguidade integrada, diversa, múltipla, servindo como um guia de reflexão dialógico e como um importante viés à produção de propostas pedagógicas para o Ensino de História, sobretudo para o Ensino de História Antiga.
