Abstract

The world is adapting to new changes and giving new meaning to the way of working after the World Health Organization decreed the COVID-19 pandemic. In view of this, several countries, such as, for example, Brazil adopted social isolation as a health measure and many Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) had to temporarily interrupt their activities or adapt to a new routine. The study aimed to: relate the experience in an Nonprofit institution during the pandemic. This is a experience report accomplished the experience of an entity that assists cancer patients of in unfavorable social situation. It is possible to see that the NGO is following the WHO recommendations and doing everything possible to continue caring for each patient with attention and respect.
