Abstract

This paper reports the University extension experience developed within the School of Sciences and Technology School of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte during the Covid-19 pandemic period by the students and teachers of the Fluid Mechanics’. In this context, the development of virtual communication is proposed, mainly with the students from this school, but not exclusively, through an interactive page on Instagram social network. There was an increase in the engagement of these students and monitors during the process, being theirs the responsibility for the preparation, publication, and dissemination of posts on the social network; the emergence of social interaction in a virtual environment by the students and identified, together with the public, the interests of the student when accessing this type of virtual page.
