This article reflects on the relevance of extension in times of crisis as a space for multiplication of care and stimulation of resilience. It aims to describe an experience of extension in times of COVID-19 and to analyze the reversibility effect of the action that aims to promote resilience through bibliotherapy and, consequently, causes in mediators a proactive attitude of solidarity acts and otherness. The dialogic and interactive methodology reveals itself as reversible, reaching mediators and the public in the promotion of well-being and catharsis in the midst of chaos. The conclusions reveal an upgrade in the motivation of the mediators, greater intensity, and understanding of the relevance of extension actions as a space of alterity and social, political, and affective commitment to the assisted community.
