This interview considers how Anthropology can do research on and during epidemics. Methodological, ethical, subjective, epistemological, financial and political issues will be considered, especially from the context of four years of anthropological research done on the Zika Virus scenario by Soraya Fleischer (DAN/UnB) and her team of researchers in the city of Recife/PE. Comparative reverberations for Covid-19 and other epidemics will also be discussed.
