Open Access Policy

This journal offers immediate free access to its content, following the principle that making scientific knowledge available to the public free of charge provides greater democratization of knowledge.

License Policy

The CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0 license has been adopted by Vivência: Revista de Antropologia since 2018.

According to Creative Commons definitions, the CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0 license “allows works derived from the original for non-commercial purposes, as long as credit is given to the author and new works are licensed under the same terms”: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/

Publication Fees Policy

The Vivência: Revista de Antropologia does not charge any amount regarding the evaluation and publication of articles, reviews, audiovisual proposals, memorials and magisterial conferences submitted.

Digital Preservation Policy

The OJS platform is compatible with the LOCKSS system (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe), used to ensure safe and permanent archiving of the periodicals cache. LOCKSS is free software developed by the Stanford University Library, which allows you to preserve online journals by archiving their contents. Each file is continuously validated against copies from other libraries. If the content is corrupted or lost, the copies are used for restoration.

Archiving Policy

The Vivência: Revista de Antropologia allows the deposit of the final version of the publication.

Periodicity

The Vivência: Revista de Antropologia publishes its numbers every six months.
