THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS AS FORMATION AND/OR TRANSFORMATION AND THE POSSIBLE CONTRIBUTIONS OF LITERATURE

This work aims to discuss the role of education as a formative and/or transformative process, paying attention to the role played by literature in it. We will approach in a more specific way the ways in which literature has been worked with teaching in schools giving emphasis to the reception of literary texts through the use and interpretation. We will deal with the relationship between students and literary texts in the school environment and how contact with this type of reading can help them in the process of building their subjectivity. We will use as theoretical support the reflections of authors such as Silvia Rocha, Annie Rouxel and Antônio Candido.
