APPLYING QUALITY TOOLS IN TROUBLESHOOTING IN A FLEXIBLE PLASTIC PACKAGING INDUSTRY

To carry out this case study, has the following characteristics: exploratory, qualitative and descriptive study, we also used some quality tools that allowed us to record and analyze the data searched, among them are: a check sheet for point and the stratification of the collected deviations, Ishikawa diagram (cause and effect) in order to arrive at a cause and effect of the problems outlined in the company's production line, and finally used to 5W2H tool to define an action plan for dealings of causing greater impact problem in the production process, data were collected in loco in 2014 until November 2015, from then on was started the case study in order to identify, register and treat these deviations, this study found the end in which the deviations found were: printing, thick, blocking and welding, but was printing with 67% more impact on the company's production line, thus bringing serious financial problems for it, in this scenario the company decided to react and take the necessary steps to remedy these problems and developing an action plan, promoting lectures and training for all employees involved in the beautiful production that showed the deviation, done that, the organization spent monitor quality indicators, thus demonstrating the effectiveness of the action plan and the elimination of the higher frequency deviation.
