Abstract

This article presents an experience report on the development and implementation of an Educational Virtual Assistant based on Natural Language Processing (PLN) with the aim of proposing a computational tool to help carry out tasks during the teaching-learning process. Virtual is designed to establish effective communication between students and teachers, offering personalized and affordable support. Additionally, the article explores assistant integration into Discord servers, providing a familiar environment for educational interaction. Throughout the text, the innovative features of the Educational Virtual Assistant and its positive impact on interaction and collaboration between participants in the educational environment are discussed.

Orivaldo Vieira de Santana Júnior, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte

Doutor e mestre pelo Centro de Informática da UFPE. Graduado em Ciência da Computação pela Universidade Federal da Bahia. Professor Adjunto da ECT/UFRN e Professor do Programa de Pós-graduação em Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação (PPgCTI) . Tem experiência na área de Ciência da Computação, com ênfase em Sistemas de Computação, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Aprendizagem de Máquina, Ciência de Dados Educacionais, Robótica Educacional e Indústria 4.0.
