Between Borders: Challenges and Perspectives of Venezuelans in Brazil

Abstract

This article presents the historical and social trajectory of the migratory process of Venezuelan families in Brazil, emphasizing the challenges and perspectives of this phenomenon. The study analyzes the living conditions and difficulties faced by this population, highlighting the social, economic, and political implications of forced migration. Methodologically, it is an exploratory bibliographic research based on narrative and documentary review. The results reveal the scarcity of critical studies on the subject, as well as the impacts of Venezuelan migration in the national context, especially regarding access to fundamental rights and public policies. In addition to its academic contribution, the study offers practical insights for consultancies in social policies and can be used as a support material in case-based teaching, assisting professionals and educators in the analysis of complex social phenomena.
