Estudio sobre la intervención del uso de colágeno en cicatrices hipertróficas y queloides

El colágeno es la proteína de la matriz extracelular más abundante en los mamíferos, regulando varios procesos corporales, desde la escala molecular hasta la macroscópica. En muchos casos de defectos del desarrollo, lesiones y enfermedades, se observa que el colágeno está dañado o desregulado. El objetivo del presente estudio fue evaluar el efecto de la intervención de la acción del colágeno sobre cicatrices hipertróficas y queloides, con el fin de dilucidar enfoques terapéuticos efectivos. Se trata de una revisión bibliográfica, descriptiva con enfoque cualitativo, en la que se realizará un levantamiento de información sobre colágeno y cicatrices. El listado de artículos científicos recogidos en bases de datos como Scielo, Science Direct y PubMed, con los buscadores 'colágeno', 'intervención'; "cicatriz"; "queloides". El estudio también tuvo como criterio de inclusión, la elección de artículos y revistas publicados en inglés y portugués, disponibles en toda la base de datos, en el período de 2010 a 2020, y como criterio de exclusión, se eliminaron los artículos que no están disponibles. fuera de la línea de tiempo, fuera del contexto, otra aplicación, además de disertaciones o tesis. Entre los 10 artículos seleccionados, se muestran los tratamientos que involucran modulación de la función del colágeno, los procesos de terapia láser, irradiación (principalmente UV), ecografía, liberación de tejido funcional, matriz de regeneración dérmica, radioterapia, terapia de presión, recubrimiento de gel de silicona, crioterapia, además a tratamientos farmacológicos como metotrexato, glucocorticoides y fluorouacilo. Por tanto, a través de los estudios leídos y comentados por los autores de este estudio, se torna el consenso literario de que las alternativas disponibles y sus abordajes terapéuticos son beneficiosas y permiten un tratamiento eficaz de los queloides, además de atenuar los impactos sociales de los pacientes en cuanto a su estética, se convierte en evidente. y los déficits que proporciona. Aún así, a partir de esta investigación bibliográfica se pudo entender qué alternativas son mejores en este tratamiento, es decir, mediante la modulación del metabolismo del colágeno, promoviendo una interacción temprana para evitar la instalación de la cicatriz hipertrófica.
