AS CONTRIBUIÇÕES DO CORDEL PARA A FORMAÇÃO LEITORA NO ESPAÇO ESCOLAR

The aim of this paper is to report on the experiences of a novice teacher in a school located in a rural area, in the 1st year of the Early Years of Primary School. Faced with the complex process involved in literacy, the students were showing a lack of interest in reading, which sparked the initiative for a theme to be developed and presented at the 1st Fair offered by the institution. The main aim of the project was to develop students' love of reading, body expression, autonomy and reading training. The methodology was descriptive exploratory research, based on experience and intervention reports. Some actors contributed to the research, such as Amarilha (2003), Abramovich (2009), Freire (2003), Prado (1996) Rubem Alves (2008) and others. The project, developed in the classroom of the 1st grade class, promoted significant progress in education and a love of reading through the exploration of the book "os animais têm razão" by the poet Antônio Francisco, giving the students the opportunity to perform outside the school walls.
