Uses Machado’s Family pictures albums, pioneer in Araguaína, to investigate historical information of the town, besides rebuilding Luzia Machado’s life micro-histories. Verifies limitations in the reading of the image support, so uses writing and oral sources which make clear the context where the pictures are inserted. Concludes about Luzia Machado’s social importance, who contributed as a historical example, like other women that participated actively in Araguaína city construction.
