The purpose of this article is to analyze the state structures existing during the medieval period, more specifically during the so-called high middle ages. Within the various debates about the existence or not of a state in the Middle Ages, we understand that the analysis here is intended to add to the historiographic debate about how certain state configurations that are manifested in pre-capitalist societies and that the advent of the State is not exclusivity of modernity.
