The purpose of this work is to study the book K. Relato de uma busca, by Bernardo Kucinski, taking into account the spatial construction of dictatorial Brazil through narrative. We are interested in observing the aspects of the book that take us back to Kafka's labyrinthine universe in O processo; the characterization of spaces marked by repression; and the critical look of a foreigner's strangeness on the military dictatorship in Brazil. For this, we will refer to the definition of non-place developed by Augé (2009), in order to think about how Kucinski's fiction characterizes some spaces of the repressive structure as places of passage, which do not create identity or relationships, but solitary tension; places where the person must always be proving his innocence.
