um estudo sobre as representações do sertão nordestino.

When a representation connects to a circuit of meanings outside itself and already determined in a certain place of discourse, this representation begins to approach another important category for Cultural History, which is the symbol and its relevance to the human sciences.These forms or fields of power relations are inserted in a symbolic way in the concept of region, that is, as a place of reproduction, these concepts are subject to social representations, for example: perception, appreciation, belonging and cultural production.Taking the object of this research, which is to understand the forms of representation of the northeastern hinterland based on three northeastern icons, the cangaceiro Virgulino Ferreira (Lampião), the ceramist Mestre Vitalino, and the 'King of Baião' Luiz Gonzaga, consider that the songs, The clothing, clay sculptures and bibliographies produced.
