This article aims to address the impacts of the so-called "Digital Age" on the work of historians, as well as the efforts and research related to the dissemination of history present on social media. The use of an appropriate methodology, considering the epistemological challenges, the fight against fake news, denialist and revisionist narratives, and political transformations that raise doubts and questions among the population, makes the role of history professionals in these virtual environments essential.
