Abstract

Este artigo mostra a cruzada ética de Adolf Loos contra o ornamento na arquitetura, e sua influência no pensamento de Wittgenstein. Primeiro, ele mostra a guerra de Loos contra o absurdo arquitetônico da Ringstrasse. Mostra também seu ataque à Secessão vienense. Em seguida, o artigo mostra como o sistema de numeração dos aforismos do Tractatusmantém uma afinidade com a cruzada ética loosiana.
